i didnt know it's been such a long time since i last blogged or even used the com. time passes so quickly. i want time to pass quickly so A's can be over but i also want time to go slowly so i can prepare. life is contradicting.

anyway, i was watching the Emirates Cup on Sunday night/Monday morning, with Arsenal playing against Real Madrid. WOOHOO ARSENAL WON 1-0 [although it was a penalty] WAHAHAHA. it was a matter of time that they won cos it was obvious that Arsenal was dominant and almost scored a few times. Real, on the other hand, only almost managed to score....... once. but thanks to Almunia, who is, i might add, a good goalkeeper. i dont know what the hell Lehmann is talking abt, i think Almunia is much better than him so he shouldnt feel shortchanged if Arsene Wenger picks Almunia over him. Germany didnt win the Euro Cup anyway, SO THERE.

it's been quite a while since i last watched Arsenal play and Walcott has improved a lot! i am so proud of him :D he's changed his jersey number frm 32 to 14, which was, according to Wikipedia, "last worn by Thierry Henry"!!! Walcott rocks my smelly socks :DDDDDD

oh yes, and Arsenal has this new player called Samir Nasri [jersey no. 8], and while watching the match it suddenly dawned on me that Nasri and Wilson resemble each other! i'm not kidding!

this is Nasri:

.....and this is Wilson....

uhhh yes, the only photo i could find of him is in a dress, koped frm Jia Ru's blog.

you dont think they look like each other meh? both got big teeth, and when Nasri plays he cant seem to close his mouth like how Wilson can nvr close his mouth. i told Wilson that Nasri looks like him and although he's nvr seen him before, he said, "all the Arsenal players are ugly. except Nasri. cos i look like him."

-_-"

which i obviously argued that Walcott was much better looking but of course that's not the point.

okaaaaaaaay, moving on.

i have been a good girl and stayed back for night study for TWO days, hahahaha. only cos i end damn late on Mondays and Tuesdays and by the time no mood to study, and today cos got National Day celebrations [more on that later] ok! Wednesday was most productive, i managed to

-finish part b) of 1 geog essay [only cos Wendy said part a) wasnt important]
-do old man's tutorial
-run 9 rounds
-play like 10 mins+ of street soccer
-eat Subway without making a mess of my face

ok, the last point probably isnt relevant. but i did geog voluntarily ok! arent you ppl proud of me :D and and, i finally broke my limit of 8 rounds to 9 rather torturous rounds! i shall conquer 10 rounds soon, heh heh.

Thursday wasnt so productive. i only did half an econs essay in 4 hrs [!!!]. spent like 3/4 of the time laughing and gossiping. this is not good. *shakes head disapprovingly*

National Day is tomorrow. as you can tell i dont really care, except for the fact that there's a long weekend. i am not a very patriotic person. if it wasnt for the fact that the number 43 is being splashed everywhere, i wouldnt even know that Singapore is 43 yrs old. honestly the numbers 20 and 82 mean more to me right now, cos that's the number of days left for prelims and A's [!!!!].

riiiiiiiight. i dont have a life.

anyway, there were National Day celebrations today. it was quite......lame. it was like more of a Racial Harmony thing than National Day. and then of course there were the cheesy National Day songs [except for Home, that's my favourite] being played and contests. the J1s were seriously damn enthu. my house best, got 0 points. nobody in Phoenix [yes, my house] really gave a damn.

it was finally over, slacked around at the atrium, watched a bit of the interhouse street soccer tournament, went for econs lecture, and slacked outside the canteen watching more street soccer, before finally leaving for Cineleisure for...

SUSHI BUFFET!

although we should've went to the Grand Cathay one, cheaper and no queue some more.

but still. i had my fill of eggs. which reminds me, i only ate one chawanmushi today. ONLY. but the potato thingy was nice.

ate there for like 2 hrs, then finally left. we were all bursting. walked to Taka to digest, and at the same time check out phones. forget Clara's phone. i now am in love with the Sony Ericcson W980. IT IS DAMN COOL.
